About…

Originally from Houston, Texas, Sarah Collins is an actor, writer, singer, and artist operating out of Chicago, Illinois. She received her training from The Theatre School at DePaul University, where she had the opportunity to learn from a variety of talented theatre artists including but not limited to Lisa Portes, Jeff Mills, Dexter Bullard, Phyllis Griffin, and Wardell Julius Clark. Some of her productions included The Wolves directed by Lisa Portes, Otherside directed by Adam Crawford, The Rover directed by Melanie Queponds, and Jane of the Jungle directed by Michelle-Lopez Rios.


Before her graduation in June of 2020, Sarah participated in the Theatre School Graduate Showcase with her ensemble.

Sarah is a theatre and visual artist dedicated to creating expansive worlds and stories through mediums that engage all senses. Sarah is excited by avenues of character exploration related to movement and music. She strongly believes in the power of physical theatre and its capacity to connect all people. Sarah is passionate about creating feminist and LGBTQ+ centric art. She hopes to one day open her own completely sustainable political theatre company.
